I am very pleased and proud to offer for sale this incredible example of the work of la Casa de Fleta. This guitar was made in 1986 for world famous virtuoso Eliot Fisk and has lived with him since. He has used this guitar for recordings and concert appearances although for me the most memorable time was the first day I met him. A good friend and client of mine was at the time a student of Eliot's. We went to his home so I could meet him and to show him some of my guitars. While he was playing, his wife Zaira went into labor. This was not something any of us had expected to happen that day. Although I had just met them, it was as if I was part of the family, we all went to the hospital and their beautiful daughter Raquel made her appearance. Eliot brought along his favorite guitar, this magnificent Fleta. I will never forget the sight (or sounds) of him, in hospital scrubs, playing Bach for his daughter. This guitar is the most powerful and even Fleta I have yet to encounter. The condition is near mint, with some playing wear, no cracks or repairs. The guitar plays very easily and will satisfy the most discriminating player and collector. A signed copy of Eliot's cds Bell Italia and Guitar Fantasies (recorded with this guitar) is included.
