Composer: Pedro Giraudo
Description: This was composed after a visit to Hiroshima in Japan. I was strongly moved by two experiences:
- My visit to the Hiroshima museum where I was amazed at the cruelty of human beings, and the suffering of innocent people. Also by the enormous will, innate to humans, to reconstruct.
- A visit to a hospital where terminal patients are treated. There we played several concerts for family members and the staff, and individual mini concerts for patients who could not leave their rooms. As we performed, we could feel the power of music to evoke joy, and help restore calmness.
