Composer: Monte Ewert
Description: Lash the Lords String Quartet was a piece composed as a tribute to the work of photographer Lewis Hine who documented the face of child labor in America at the turn of the last century. This quartet sounds to be a protest. It is aggressive, boldly sad, and at the same time hopeful taking the listener through numerous emotional peaks and valleys. The Quartet is very melodic and each part clearly has its own voice. Includes complete score and individual parts.
Instrumentation: Cello Viola Violin
