Joshua Wagner is an accomplished teacher, performer, and scholar. He frequently performs as a soloist and with guitar duo. An accomplished composer, he recently premiered his own composition “Epitaph” at Eastman School of Music’s Hatch Hall. He has performed to critical acclaim in the masterclasses of Roland Dyens, Eliot Fisk, Roberto Aussel, David Tanenbaum, and others.
Mr. Wagner recently completed his Master’s Degree at the prestigious Eastman School of Music. He studied with Dr. Nicholas Goluses, one of America’s most sought out guitarists. In addition to studying with Dr. Goluses, he also studied historical performance practice with Paul O’Dette. Mr. Wagner also studied composition under award winning composer John Liberatore.
A sought out teacher and performer, Mr. Wagner recently gave concerts and masterclasses at Mansfield and Bloomsburg Universities. Mr. Wagner has taught privately in Buffalo, NY for many years. His students have achieved great success. He completed his undergraduate studies under Evan Drummond and Matthew Slotkin at Buffalo State College. At Buffalo State, Mr. Wagner was awarded music scholarships for each year of study.
